How to store your WashR PRO

Proper storage of your Bigboi WASHR PRO ensures its longevity and readiness for future use. Follow these steps for both general storage and preparation for winter or long-term storage.

After General/Regular Use

  1. Drain and Store High-Pressure Hose

    • Drain all water from the high-pressure hose, coil it, and hang it on the cradle on the pressure washer frame.
    • If chemicals were used, ensure the pump and chemical hose are thoroughly cleaned out.
  2. Drain and Store Gun and Lance

    • Drain all the water from the gun and lance by holding the gun in a vertical position with the nozzle end pointing down and squeezing the trigger.
    • Store the gun and lance in the gun/hose holder.

Preparation for Winter and Long-term Storage

Note: It is recommended to follow these steps to protect the internal seals of the pump when storing the equipment for more than 30 days or when freezing temperatures are expected.

  1. Obtain Necessary Items

    • Obtain a Pressure Washer Pump Freeze Guard and a meter of garden hose with a male hose connector attached to one end.
  2. Connect Hose to Pump

    • Connect the hose to the water inlet on the pump.
  3. Attach Freeze Guard

    • Attach the bottle of freeze guard to the pump inlet.
  4. Protect the Pump

    • Squeeze the freeze guard bottle until antifreeze comes out of the pump outlet.
  5. Remove Hose

    • Remove the short hose from the water inlet on the pump.

By following these storage steps, you ensure that your WASHR PRO is protected and ready for use after periods of inactivity or during freezing temperatures. If you encounter any issues, refer to our troubleshooting guide or contact our support team for assistance.
